Showcasing Women Entrepreneurs: Violet Organization Highlights Female Founders at IIEF 2025

The International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (IIEF) 2025, held in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, served as a pivotal platform for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. The forum brought together local and international experts, startups, investors, and policymakers to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and education.
As one of the organizers, Violet Organization showcased its Female Founders Program during the event. This program, a collaboration between Violet Organization, Foundation Hub, and Smart Suli, was designed to empower women entrepreneurs by providing structured training, mentorship, and support for innovative business ideas. The program culminated in the selection of three winners, one of whom was Hevi, whose winning idea was an organic farming venture focused on cultivating traditional Kurdish oats. Hevi's project exemplifies the program's commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture and preserving cultural heritage through entrepreneurship.
The IIEF 2025 not only highlighted the achievements of women entrepreneurs like Hevi but also underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Kurdistan Region.
