Girls and technology courses

The Girls and Technology program, a flagship annual initiative, is designed to equip young girls with essential technological skills, enhancing their employability and fostering business growth. Girls and Technology Program.

The program was launched on March 8, 2023, at the event (Innovation and Technology for Women Empowerment and Equality) which was part of the theme of the United Nations for International Women's Day.

To enroll in these courses, participants are required to complete specific online forms tailored to each course. Rigorous selection criteria, established by our expert trainers and the Violet team, ensure the inclusion of dedicated and promising individuals.

Under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan-Iraq, Mr. Qubad Talabany, our inaugural Girls and Technology program unfolded over two months, from September to November 2023. The curriculum encompassed four courses: Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, UI/UX Design, and Photography. Seventy girls, carefully chosen from a pool of 518 applicants, successfully completed these courses, marking a significant milestone in their technological education journey. This initiative not only empowers young women with practical skills but also stands as a testament to our commitment to advancing opportunities in the ever-evolving field of technology.
