Girls in tech Event 2023

With the aim of increasing the participation of girls and women in the technology field, under the supervision of Mr. Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Violet Organization implemented the Girls and Technology Program.
The program was launched on March 8, 2023 at the event (Innovation and Technology for Women Empowerment and Equality) which was part of the theme of the United Nations for International Women’s Day.
The Girls and Technology program consisted of four different courses (Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Ui/Ux Design, Photography)
In the graduation ceremony 70 girls graduated successfully and they were armed with the necessary skills to enter the working world. In the event many of the companies in Sulaimanyah were invited to be introduced to the ability of our girls and offer them internship and job opportunity.
